Fluff

I picked this play up from Marissa Fillipou in 2007 from the National Champion Victorian U18 girls team that I was lucky enough to assist.

Start in a three out two in alignment.

1 man picks a side and the opposite post, gets a lead foot and leads up the line, ready to receive it.

The other post player sets a back screen for the 2 who cuts to the opposite block.

5 then sets an up screen for the 1, who flare cuts to the wing.

4 makes a skip pass to the 1 man.

The 1 man has an opportunity for the quick penetration here off the close out created by the flare cut.

4 and 5 then set a triple staggered screen with 2.

3 man walks their man down, in line with the 2 man.

3 then cuts off the staggered screens mostly as a diversion for the second cutter.

The first cutter always curls to the opposite block.

As soon as the 3 man has passed their shoulder, the 2 man turns, shapes up to the ball to tighten their defender to them, then runs their man off the staggered screen, looking to catch and shoot.

The 3 man holds at the post for a 1 count and then steps out to the corner.

The second screener in the staggered should "head hunt" the cutter's defender.

The second screener (5) in the staggered screen flares to the wing.

The first screener in the staggered dives hard to the basket looking to pin and seal their man to set up the high low look.
